Adjacent to our 17th-century Grade II listed home, Pippins is your peaceful countryside escape — perfect for walkers, nature-lovers, and anyone needing a break from the busyness of modern life. We are dog-friendly, with a fully enclosed garden and a private field beside the cottage available for dog walking.

Located just a few miles from Llandrindod Wells, this charming “upside-down” barn conversion features stunning views, serene surroundings, and direct access to walking trails, historical landmarks, and rich local wildlife.

Step outside your door and you’ll find:

• Castle Bank, home to the medieval ruins of Cefnllys Castle

• The ancient 13th Century St Michael’s Church, tucked beside the River Ithon

• Direct access to the Heart of Wales Line Walking Trail , offering picturesque routes between rural train stations

Our wildlife cameras regularly capture badgers and bats, while Red Kites and Buzzards soar overhead. In winter, birds flock to the feeders, and along the River Ithon you may spot Kingfishers, Dippers, and even Otters.

Just 30 minutes away lies the Elan Valley — a breathtaking area of natural beauty, home to over 80 miles of scenic trails and an International Dark Sky Park, perfect for stargazing.
